The sluggish demand and the falling price of caprolactam are expected to cut the operating rate of nylon producers across Asia again, market sources said on Thursday.


The mood of the nylon chip market is extremely bearish because most spot buyers take a wait-and-see attitude, and only a few buyers maintain the minimum purchase to meet their immediate demand, market sources said.


An industrial unit said: "sales are quite low, we can not imagine that the downstream industry is really demand."
