The report shows that GAO Of the 180 garments tested, 94% of the formaldehyde levels in clothing were lower than those currently applied in 13 countries for strict standards of formaldehyde content. The specification includes: 1. Formaldehyde should not be detected in clothing for infants and children under 3 years of age. Two, the formaldehyde content detected in clothing that has direct contact with adults or children over 3 years old should not exceed 75ppm. The test results are similar to previous studies conducted by the European Union, Australia and New Zealand. The pass rate of the EU is 96%, and the pass rate of New Zealand is 97%.
