Textile Industry Association Industry Standard

In April 19th, China Textile Industry Association Japan's industry self-regulation standard And the white list system briefing. This meeting made a detailed description of the criteria for the prohibition of the use of specific azo dyes and the "white list" qualification of Japanese textile enterprises.

In recent years, the issue of product safety has been widely concerned by consumers. In order to keep the textile safety standards consistent with the international standard, the Japanese fiber industry alliance has formulated the self discipline standard of textiles without using specific azo dyes.

Japan is the second largest export of Chinese textiles. market 80% of the textiles in the Japanese market come from China. In order to avoid increasing the cost of export enterprises due to the batch by product inspection, the China Textile Industry Association and the Japanese Fiber Industry Federation have repeatedly agreed to reach a consensus on the implementation of the standard. That is, through the cooperation between the two sides, a white list system will be established to provide consumers with safe and reassuring textiles in order to avoid the batch testing of textiles, so as to reduce the cost of related enterprises and ensure the smooth progress of Sino Japanese textile trade.

Enterprises that get the "white list" qualification can be recognized by Japanese importers who enter the system. When their products are exported to Japan, they do not need to detect specific azo dyes, which not only reduces the export cost of enterprises, but also enables enterprises to get more business opportunities.

At present, the "white list registration system", established jointly by the China Textile Industry Association and the Japanese Fiber Industry Federation, has been developed and put into trial operation on the line. The "white list" qualification examination of printing and dyeing enterprises has already begun. All printing and dyeing enterprises can register through the "white list registration system" from now on and submit the "white list" qualification application to the China Textile Industry Association.

It is understood that the white list system is only applicable to the Japanese market, but with the development of the white list system and the promotion of the China Textile Industry Association, the system may be accepted by more countries such as Europe and the United States, and become a safety management platform for domestic textiles. The "white list" qualification will become the "green label" of enterprises.
