According to Meng financial bulletin, due to the implementation of the new labor law, appreciation of the renminbi and rising costs, about 15% of the shoe factories in Dongguan, China, have begun to close or move out of the more than 1000 factories.

The average wage of Dongguan workers has risen from $100 in 06 years to $200.

Compared with China, Mencius are rich in human resources, the average wages of factory workers are low, and the average workers are about 300-400 yuan (the statutory minimum wage is about 175 yuan), which is conducive to reducing production costs.
