AQSIQ Spot Checks Of Toys, Clothing And Other Electrical Products Qualified Only 7.
The State General Administration of quality supervision, inspection and Quarantine on 30 May announced the results of special inspection of 14 kinds of e-commerce products quality supervision in 2014.
The spot checks involved 8 mainstream e-commerce platform companies such as Jingdong, Tmall, Amazon, Dangdang, and 1 stores, and extracted 502 batches of e-commerce products from 359 enterprises.

The results show that the quality of e-commerce products in China needs to be improved, and the overall pass rate is only 73.9%.
The AQSIQ said that it will launch e-commerce product quality improvement action from now until December 2016, and strive to make the state supervision and inspection of e-commerce products quality by the end of 2016.

Spot checks on 14 types of e-business products, including children's toys, clothing, footwear, back bags and small household appliances, which are aimed at Internet sales, highlight the spot checks on B2C mode, that is, e-commerce enterprises and their proprietary products, which are directly sold to consumers by products sold by electric business enterprises.
Spot checks found that 7 out of 14 products had a detection rate of over 30%.
Electric kettle, indoor heater and other household electrical appliances and plush cloth toy products have many hidden dangers.
