In the thirty-six years of history research, he has compiled and presided over a number of Research Monographs on the history of Chinese clothing, and he has devoted himself to the study of real objects for a long time.

In the lecture, Gao Chun Ming, taking the archaeological events unearthed, his own participation in the archaeological activities, as well as the costumes in the works of films and television, as examples, introduces the famous clothing culture and its evolution in the past dynasties, taking the silk gauze cicada unearthed in Mawangdui and the ancient emperor's Dragon Robe as an example.

In the exhibition area, the organizers also designed and produced over 20 pieces of picture and text display boards, around the representative dress of Shanghai women, the "Hai Pai cheongsam", and introduced the historical changes and production skills of the "Shanghai style cheongsam" for the teachers and students of the business school.

The "Hai Pai cheongsam" was formed in Shanghai in the 30s and 40s of last century. Its tailoring is long and its shape is very long.

At that time, the fashionable cheongsam style, which had stood 100 years of trial, became the classic cheongsam style widely loved by women worldwide today.

In 2009, "Hai Pai cheongsam production techniques" was selected as the first batch of municipal intangible cultural heritage list in Shanghai. In 2011, Shanghai's "Dragon Phoenix Qipao handcraft" was listed in the national intangible cultural heritage list.

The organizers expressed the hope that through such activities, teachers and students would have the opportunity to experience the charm of clothing culture in non-material culture, and feel the broad and profound Chinese traditional culture, so that the lifeblood of national culture can be spread and continued in the campus.
