Sino Korea Costumes Seminar To Promote Cultural Exchange

As a country with strong oriental culture tradition, China and Korea have become the representatives of Oriental culture.

In May 19th, 2015, the Sino Korean traditional costumes seminar was held in ancient capital Xi'an.

This seminar is the second session since the first seminar successfully held in Xi'an in 2014.

Many experts from South Korea's integrity women's University, Xi'an Polytechnic University, Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts and other Chinese and Korean universities have published their respective traditions.

The seminar was co sponsored by the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Xi'an, the Foreign Affairs Office of the Shaanxi Provincial People's government, the Shaanxi Provincial People's Association for friendship with foreign countries, Xi'an Polytechnic University and Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts.

Li Kangguo, Consul General of the Consulate General of South Korea in Xi'an, said the relationship between South Korea and Shaanxi has been very close.

The convening of this symposium will help strengthen ties between the two peoples and enhance exchanges among the people, and will further promote mutual understanding between the two peoples.
