In the first half of this year, Sichuan achieved a total import and export value of 135 billion 630 million yuan, down 18.9% compared with the same period last year, and the decline continued to narrow.

During the month of June, the province exported 14 billion 660 million yuan and achieved an increase of 2%.

This is the first time that a monthly export growth has been achieved for the first time in 16 months, indicating that Sichuan's foreign trade is recovering.

In 1-6 months, Sichuan exported 7 categories of traditional labor-intensive products, 6 billion 820 million yuan, a sharp decrease of 61.4%.

Among them, exports of textiles dropped by more than 2.

Down nearly 5, clothing fell 68.6%.

On the same day, consumer price (CPI) was released in the first half of Sichuan.

CPI rose 2% in the first half of the year, 0.1 percentage points lower than the national growth rate, showing a moderate upward trend.

In June, it rose 1.7% compared to the same period last year.

Food prices rose by 7.5% over the same period last year, and the impact on CPI was nearly 8, becoming the leading force in pushing CPI up.

Over the same period, the value of imports and exports of Sichuan and Uzbekistan increased by 1.8 times, 1.6 times that of Cyprus, and 1.2 times that of Belarus.

Processing trade is an important force to promote Sichuan's foreign trade.

In 1-6 months, Sichuan imported and exported 75 billion yuan in processing trade, an increase of 13.5%, stimulating the province's foreign trade growth by 5.3 percentage points, accounting for the same period in the whole province.

The total value of imports and exports is 55.3%, a 15.8 percentage point increase over the same period last year.

As the main position of import and export of processing trade, the import and export value of Chengdu hi tech Comprehensive Bonded Zone in the first half of the year was 71 billion 840 million yuan, an increase of 13.1%, accounting for 53% of the total import and export of the whole province, which increased by 15 percentage points from the same period last year.

Foreign enterprises are the beneficiaries of processing trade.

In the first half of this year, foreign investment enterprises in Sichuan increased 85 billion 610 million yuan in imports and exports, an increase of 9%, boosting the growth of foreign trade in the province by 4.2 percentage points, accounting for 63.1% of the total foreign trade import and export value in the same period, representing a 16.1 percentage point increase over the same period last year.

From the point of view of the import and export of the characteristic products, the export of mechanical and electrical products, which account for over 7 of the export volume, has a warming trend.

In the same period, the export of portable computers in the province was 27 billion 940 million yuan, an increase of 2.2%, and export cars 430 million yuan, an increase of 81.5%.
